Initiative to Develop Education through Astronomy and Space Science (IDEAS) Grants
The Initiative to Develop Education through Astronomy and Space Science (IDEAS) is a grant program which funds START-UP educational outreach projects that team educators with scientists. The IDEAS program is one component of NASA's Office of Space Science (OSS) Education and Public Outreach Strategy, whose goal is to improve science, mathematics, and technology education, as well as science literacy in the United States.

Lunar and Planetary Institute Scientist-Teacher Cooperation Grants
To increase scientist participation in educational outreach, the Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) run Broker / Facilitator is offering small grants up to $300 for Scientist-Teacher Cooperation. The grants provide funding for necessary supplies and materials for small educational projects. Eligible teachers include public or private school teachers at the K-12 level, and appropriate administrators such as a school principal or district science coordinator. Both scientist and teacher must currently reside in the United States.

Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium Mini-Grants
The Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium offers small grants to K-12 teachers to enrich the study of science and mathematics in the classroom. The grants-up to $400 each-must be matched by nonfederal funds. Public, private, and certified home-school teachers are welcome to apply.
