SMD Broker/Facilitator Program

Covering a specific region of the United States, the Science Mission Directorate and Public Outreach Support Network's Broker/Facilitators work to promote science education and public knowledge. They partner space and earth scientists with educators and support relationships between science and education communities. Other educational needs are met through referrals to sources of educational products and materials. On the map, striped regions are shared by two Brokers.

The Science Mission Directorate manages NASA's Space Science Enterprise which is devoted to missions solving mysteries of the universe, exploring the solar system, discovering planets around other stars, searching for life beyond Earth from origins to destiny, charting the evolution of the universe and understanding its galaxies, stars, planets, and life.
