The Science Mission Directorate (SMD) maintains a listing of over 300 regional and national education, public outreach, and science conferences. These conferences are meant to involve the educational community in the discoveries and knowledge of space and earth science. The SMD web site provides information on the distribution of materials at conferences and how to get involved. Events are divided into regional conferences, national conferences, and science and technology conferences with educational sessions.
